Job Hazard Analysis/Hazard Assessments: In this presentation we will cover the OSHA job hazard assessment regulation contained in Subpart I, [29 CFR 1910.132(d)].We will cover the regulatory requirements including any pertinent OSHA interpretations. The exercise will employ a systematic approach to a job hazard analysis program, utilizing the OSHA Hierarchy of Controls (engineering, administrative/work practice, personal protective equipment) to address all potential hazards of a task. This will be an interactive program and we will conduct a hazard analysis of a predetermined task as part of the presentation. Trainer: Daniel A. 10-Hour Health & Safety in Construction

Removing Barriers to Strengthen Communities:    Affordable Housing and Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing at the Local Level

This workshop will explain the relationship between fair housing law and land use regulations.  Tools will be provided to help municipalities avoid violating federal and state fair housing laws.  Any municipality dealing with issues such as affordable housing, group homes, residential care facilities, requests for accessibility modifications, or seeking VCDP funding, cannot afford to miss this workshop!
